About Me

Welcome to my blog! I recently started this blog to inform those interested in how life works for a younger age-grouper triathlete. I will be competing in my first Ironman race this July which would be Ironman 70.3 Vineman in Windsor, California.

Monticelloman Triathlon

I started competitively running last year and wound up placing first in my age group at the National Police Week 5K in D.C. I followed that up with a second place in my age group finish at the Northface Endurance Challenge in Sterling, VA. I finished up the race season with a posterior hip injury that kept me out of running for two months. During that time, I decided to start swimming for recovery...that led me to pick up cycling. I did my first cycling race/challenge at the Audi 20-miler. After that, I fell in love with my Raleigh bike. I decided to pick up the sport of Triathlon when I decided I needed a challenge. I really wanted to push my limits so I decided to pick up the sport. After many months of training I have really learned alot and met alot of great people along the way. Enjoy the blog!

(P.S) my Race History page starts with the 2014 Race Season...I have omitted previous seasons.
